An Oasis Of Love

In the depths of darkness,
And the gloom of despair,
A weight on our shoulders,
A heaviness in the air,
We humbled ourselves and turned,
Once again to the promises given,
And instantly light shone in the darkness,
And lit a pathway ahead,
An oasis in the desert,
A pillow for my head,
I drank deep from the water,
It gave me new life again,
A rose in the desert,
A field full of grain,
A yoke that is easy,
No burden for me,
You took all my sorrows,
And died at Calvary,
The Cross was the doorway,
The Truth and the Life,
The way to the Father,
For the rest of my life,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost,
The blood of our Lord Jesus,
In You I will boast.
